Pesaro
Pesaro overlooks the Adriatic near the mouth of the River Foglia. Its historic centre, including Piazza del Popolo and the Ducal Palace, connects with the seafront and city beaches. The music of locally born Gioachino Rossini is part of its identity. To the north, the San Bartolo hill breaks the flat coastline with green slopes, small villages and sea views.
