Montemonaco
Montemonaco lies on the Marche side of the Sibillini Mountains among stone villages, woodland and ridges. Its old centre preserves medieval views and mountain panoramas associated with the legends of the Sibyl. Lower down, Foce opens onto the Aso valley and Pian della Gardosa. The surrounding hamlets and slopes reflect the mountain character of this part of the Ascoli area.
