Montefortino
Montefortino is a hill town in the Fermo hinterland at the foot of the Sibillini Mountains. Houses and streets follow the hillside, opening onto views of surrounding peaks and valleys. The area includes woodland, streams, the Madonna dell’Ambro sanctuary and the Infernaccio gorge. Its character comes from the close connection between the historic village, farmland and mountain scenery.
